Christina Navarro is a singer-songwriter, poet, and painter whose creative journey began at a young age. Growing up surrounded by music, marked by significant grief in her early years, and sprouting through the cracks of a unique childhood, Christina’s path to songwriting seemed destined. Writing poetry since childhood, painting for over a decade, and dancing for most of her life, she found in these art forms not only a means of expression but a way to navigate the world’s beauty and pain.
The sea has always been her home, a constant muse, and a place of spiritual grounding. “The sea is my home, my art is my church,” she says, embodying the deep connection she feels with her craft. Her music, much like her poetry and visual art, is drenched in a haunting, ethereal quality. Her sound takes listeners through deep love, the profundity of loss, the embodiment of curious desire, and the magic that lies in between.
For the last two years, Christina has been working on an ambitious Shakespeare-inspired music project, where she explores Shakespeare's timeless human experiences through her uniquely modern, poetic lens. A project that celebrates her deep love for the Bard. (It may never come to fruition. We'll see.)
Each work that she creates is a reflection of her whimsical spirit and strangeness. With her EP set to release mid 2026, Christina continues to merge storytelling and sound, crafting art that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
